Niek Hilkmann (NL) is a Rotterdam based artist, musician and researcher with a background in Art History, Media Design and Musicology. He has a particular interest in the abstruse technological condition we are currently living in and the insufficient intellectual methodologies that seek to justify, or explain it. Besides being resposible for various media-archaeological events at WORM, the institute of avant-gardistic recreation in Rotterdam, he is also one of the care members of Varia, the center of everyday technology.
Thomas Walskaar (NO) is a graphic designer and researcher. He has a Masters in Media Design and Communication from The Piet Zwart Institute in Rotterdam and a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Ravensbourne in London. His personal interests revolve around frailty of storage technology, and the importance of the individual to store with caution. One of this projects are My Hard-Drive Died Along With My Heart"
Oliver Barstow (ZA) has fifteen years work experience in the contemporary art sector as an editor, designer and book publisher. He has worked with, amongst others, the artist William Kentridge and publishers Field Essays, Walther Koenig, Mercatorfonds, Hatje Cantz, Sternberg Press, the Aperture Foundation, Photoworks and the Venice Biennale. He is currently the Editor of the Sandberg Series and the Online Editor and Designer for ZAM Magazine. In 2010, he co-founded and was Director of Fourthwall Books and in 2018 he was the recipient of the Mondriaan Fonds Talent Development Award.
Lídia Pereira (PT) is an independent designer, artist and researcher based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She is the founding editor of the Pervasive Labour Union zine (2015-), a project offering a low-barrier entry level for contributors to express their views on social media labour, but also a low-barrier entry level for those wishing to become acquainted with these debates.
